A day I might forget

So I'll write a poem instead

A day spent out of camp

The rain made us feel damp

Blythe yelled and cried

Love was then applied

Patience was tested

Tempers crested

Rosslyn had a stuffy nose

There were more than a handful of lows

But we sat down at the table

Carried heavy things as we were able

Together, we broke the fresh-baked bread

Expectations were easily shed

I'd have it no other way

Than to have lived this

Extraordinarily beautiful day
